Rugby Architectural Building Products is a full line wholesale distributor of interior building products. Its primary business is the wholesale distribution of non-structural architectural grade interior building products sold principally to customers who manufacture end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets. The Company’s key product offerings include solid surfacing, high-pressure laminates, wood lines and panel overlays. Headquartered in Concord, NH, the company serves over 9,000 customers in the largest metro centers in the U.S. with a geographic footprint covering 25 states from 12 distribution facilities operating in Metro Boston, Metro NYC, Atlanta, GA, Tampa, FL, Indianapolis, IN, Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Las Vegas, NV, Reno, NV, and Los Angeles, CA.


TSS

Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, The Supply Source (TSS) specializes in supply chain management and distribution, providing its customers operational efficiencies through a single-source supply offering. The “one-stop shop” distributes packaging and shipping products, labels, janitorial supplies, and other non-resale operational items used by a growing base of top-tier customers across the retail, food manufacturing, and healthcare sectors. The services provided by The Supply Source result in price stability and consistency across branches, consolidation of vendors, improved fill rates, consistent quality, overall cost savings, and increased profits for its customers. Leading Ridge became attracted to TSS for its unique and scalable business model, quality base of category-leading customers, dedication to superior levels of customer service, long-standing industry relationships, and strong senior management team. Our prior success within the distribution sector and the large addressable market that can benefit from the Company's consultative distribution approach give Leading Ridge great confidence in our ability to expand the regional TSS platform into one that is national in scope. By completing this recapitalization, The Supply Source has strengthened its position within the marketplace and ensured it has the funds and expertise necessary for the Company to expand operations and better serve its customers coast-to-coast.


DRS

DRS Product Returns is a leading provider of returned goods management services and supply chain analysis for food and consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturers. DRS offers its customers a national solution, with operations in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Nevada. The Company's core services focus on the prevention, control, and monetization of returned goods. An asset-light, high margin business model with low capex and working capital requirements, a quality base of category-leading manufacturer customers with long-term relationships and contracts, dedication to superior levels of customer service, a reputation for integrity within its industry, and a best-in-class management team are all things that attracted the Leading Ridge team to DRS. As a reverse logistics provider, this Company presents our team with an opportunity to leverage our operational competencies in order to support even greater levels of customer service to both current and future customers. While the current focus of the Company is predominately on handling grocery and CPG returns, the team sees great opportunity in using DRS as a platform to provide a complete reverse supply chain solution to both current and future channels.

Marjack

Marjack Company Inc. based in Landover, Maryland, is a distributor of candy, snack items, and specialty retail products throughout the United States. Leading Ridge partners grew the Company from $37 million to $158 million within seven years (27% CAGR), expanding operations from two distribution centers to eight owned centers with five contract centers servicing the United States. Under their leadership, sales and gross profit increased by double digits for five straight years. Mr. Coopersmith served as a mentor to the executive team, assisting the group in its efforts to manage growth, increase revenue, reduce expenses, and increase operating income, culminating in the preparation of Marjack for sale. Ultimately, Marjack was sold to a strategic buyer for an industry multiple in the top quartile.


Great Western

Great Western LLC located in Hollywood, Alabama, is a manufacturer and master distributor of food and non-food products for the entertainment industry. This company was originally structured as a subsidiary of the Marjack Company, but was subsequently split into an individual company post-acquisition. When Leading Ridge management took over ownership of the split entity, the Company had a loss in the prior year, and through the management team’s leadership efforts, Great Western had turned a profit by the end of the first quarter. Leading Ridge management re-negotiated pricing contracts, expanded product lines, and developed a three-year plan to triple business and increase EBITDA to exceed industry standards. Additionally, the Leading Ridge partners provided coaching and development to newly-selected executive team members brought from levels within the organization to expand their business expertise. In due course, Great Western was sold to a financial buyer for a market multiple, providing a significant return to the shareholders, including the management team whom otherwise would not have had the potential for ownership prior to Leading Ridge’s acquisition.
